Heldrey uses Google APIs to provide Google Calendar automation and related account functionality.
This page explains how Heldrey handles information received through Google APIs. For more complete information about Heldrey’s privacy practices, including storage, retention, security, service providers, account deletion, and your privacy rights, please see our Privacy Policy.
Google Limited Use
Heldrey’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy and Google Workspace User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What Google information Heldrey accesses
The information Heldrey accesses depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant.
For account authentication, Heldrey may receive basic Google account information such as your name, email address, profile information, and identifiers associated with your Google account.
If you connect Google Calendar, Heldrey may access information such as:
- calendar identifiers, names, and configuration;
- calendar timezone and related settings;
- event titles and descriptions;
- event dates, times, and duration;
- event locations;
- organizer information;
- attendee information and RSVP status;
- Busy or Free status;
- event visibility, color, and reminders;
- conference or meeting information;
- recurring-event information;
- Google Calendar event identifiers and synchronization metadata; and
- other calendar information reasonably necessary to provide the rules and features you configure.
Heldrey does not currently request access to your Gmail mailbox or Google Contacts as part of the Heldrey Calendar product.
How Heldrey uses Google information
Heldrey uses Google Workspace information as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, support, and improve its appropriate user-facing functionality.
Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- authenticating and managing your account;
- connecting to and synchronizing with your calendars;
- listing and activating calendars;
- evaluating and executing rules you configure;
- creating, updating, or removing calendar items when required by a feature or rule;
- providing previews, explanations, Activity history, and Undo functionality;
- identifying items that may require your attention;
- processing pending invitations;
- calculating travel time and processing locations;
- troubleshooting problems and improving synchronization and feature reliability; and
- providing other Google Calendar functionality you choose to use.
Heldrey may maintain limited copies or representations of Google Calendar information where reasonably necessary to operate these features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Travel and location features
If you use Heldrey functionality involving locations or travel time, relevant location information may be processed using mapping and routing services, including services provided by Google Maps Platform.
Depending on the operation, this may include location text, place information, coordinates, travel mode, and routing information.
This information is used to provide location and travel-related functionality and is not used by Heldrey for advertising purposes.
AI assistants and MCP
Heldrey may allow you to connect compatible AI assistants, agents, or other software through interfaces such as MCP.
This functionality is optional.
When you authorize an external assistant or application to access Heldrey, that service may receive information returned by the Heldrey tools and permissions you have authorized. Depending on the request, this could include rules, account configuration, calendar-related information, previews, Activity information, or other information required to perform the requested operation.
Heldrey does not automatically provide an external AI assistant with unrestricted access to all of your calendar information.
Once information has been provided to an external service that you choose to connect, that service’s own privacy practices and terms may also apply.
Heldrey’s core calendar automation system operates according to configured rules and does not need to send your calendar information to a general-purpose AI model in order to execute those rules.
Advertising, sale, and AI model training
Consistent with Google’s Limited Use requirements:
- Heldrey does not sell Google Workspace user data;
- Heldrey does not use Google Workspace user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized advertising, or advertising profiles;
- Heldrey does not use Google Workspace user data to determine creditworthiness; and
- Heldrey does not use Google Workspace user data to train or improve general-purpose artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Google Workspace information obtained through Google’s APIs is kept separate from Heldrey’s advertising and marketing use.
Sharing and service providers
Heldrey may make Google Workspace information available to service providers or connected services where reasonably necessary to provide, operate, support, or improve permitted user-facing functionality and where allowed under Google’s policies.
For example, this may include:
- Google services used to authenticate your account and interact with Google Calendar;
- mapping and routing services used for Travel Time and location functionality;
- infrastructure and operational service providers involved in operating Heldrey; and
- external assistants or applications that you choose to connect and authorize.
Google Workspace information may also be accessed or disclosed where permitted and reasonably necessary for security purposes or where required by applicable law.
Any transfer of Google Workspace information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of Heldrey or its assets remains subject to Google’s applicable data-use restrictions, including any consent requirements that apply.
Human access
Heldrey personnel are not intended to routinely browse users’ calendar content.
If you request support and resolving the issue requires a person to view specific identifiable Google Workspace or Calendar information, Heldrey may ask for your explicit permission before doing so.
Human access may also occur where permitted under Google’s policies and reasonably necessary for security purposes, such as investigating abuse or a security incident, where required by applicable law, or where information has been aggregated and anonymized for permitted internal purposes.
Heldrey seeks to limit such access to the information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
Disconnecting Google and deleting information
You can disconnect a Google connection from Heldrey or revoke Heldrey’s access through your Google Account.
When you disconnect a Google connection from Heldrey, Heldrey stops future processing through that connection and removes the stored credentials used by Heldrey for that connection.
Disconnecting Google does not automatically delete events or other information from Google Calendar merely because Heldrey previously interacted with them.
Other information associated with your Heldrey account may remain until it is separately deleted or is no longer needed under the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
You may request deletion of your Heldrey account and associated personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
