Heldrey currently supports Google Calendar. Sign in at the Heldrey app, connect a calendar, and define the behavior you want. Recurring behavior belongs in a Heldrey rule. A one-time create, move, or reply belongs in Google Calendar.
Heldrey reads your events and writes only the fields it owns — color, reminder, availability, and visibility — or creates blocks it manages, such as buffers, travel, and invitation holds. Google Calendar stays the system of record. Nothing changes until a rule is on.
Do this in order
- Sign in with Google and connect Google Calendar. Google’s own consent screen is the only place that grant happens. Heldrey never skips it.
- Pick the calendar Heldrey should manage.
- Create a rule in the app, import a package under Rules → Import, or ask an assistant to draft one. A draft is never active.
- Preview the rule against your events. Preview never writes to the calendar.
- Turn the rule on. Heldrey applies it to the next 30 days and keeps applying it when events change.
- Use Activity when you want to know what Heldrey did, and Needs attention when Heldrey cannot make a safe choice.
Disconnecting Google in Settings deletes the stored tokens and stops processing. Your calendar is left as it is.
If you want an assistant to do the setup, start at Use Heldrey from your assistant. Assistants that cannot connect over MCP can still prepare a package for Import.
