Any client that can talk to a remote MCP server can connect if it supports all of the following:
- Streamable HTTP over the public internet. Heldrey answers POST only. It does not keep a live session, and GET is refused.
- Sign-in through OAuth with PKCE. There is no client secret. The client registers itself.
- A redirect back to the client over https, to this computer, or to the app’s own scheme.
The server URL is https://app.heldrey.com/mcp. Copy it from the MCP & AI page in Heldrey.
Cursor and other desktop clients that speak remote MCP with OAuth fit this list. There is no separate Cursor click path here.
MCP Inspector is a developer tool for the same URL. Use it when you are checking the server, not as the everyday way to use Heldrey.
