Set up a rule

Describe what you want, preview it, then turn the rule on in Heldrey. A draft is never active.

The lifecycle is always:

  1. Describe what you want.
  2. The assistant drafts it and checks it.
  3. It previews what would change, with the travel, buffers, and holds around each event as context.
  4. You switch it on in Heldrey.

A draft is never active.

Switching on is a hand-off

The assistant cannot switch a custom rule on. It answers with a link. You open Heldrey’s own page, which names the assistant that asked and shows the rule’s own sentence, and you turn it on there. The thing that changes your calendar is agreed on Heldrey’s page, by you.

Everything else still confirms in the conversation — deleting, switching a module or a sync on, pause and resume. Do not treat every confirmation as a Heldrey page. The hand-off is switching a custom rule on, and the create paths that would activate one.

See When the assistant sends you to Heldrey.

What the preview shows

Which events would match, what would change, and the travel, buffers, and holds around them. When more than one calendar is in play, each event names the calendar it is on. Travel figures Google measured carry Travel times and distances from Google Maps. Preview never writes.

When you are at the rule limit

If the assistant reports that the rule allowance is reached, switch a rule off or upgrade. Capacity advice reaches the assistant only when you are at or over your post-trial allowance, and is simply absent otherwise. Details are on limits and plans.
