Rules

A Heldrey rule is a persistent, deterministic When / If / Do. The same objects run in the app and from an assistant.

A rule pairs a trigger and optional conditions with one or more actions. Heldrey evaluates it when a relevant event is created or changes. The configured conditions and actions determine the outcome. Heldrey does not ask a model how a configured rule should behave.

Example rule
When An event is created or changes
If At least one attendee is external
Do Set the event color to blueberry and hold 15 min afterward

Custom rules and modules

Custom rules are the When / If / Do you build yourself. Friendly rules stay shallow. Advanced rules allow deeper condition trees, stop-processing, and reordering — those sit on a paid plan.

Invite Hold, Travel Time, and Calendar Sync are modules. Switching a module on counts as one active rule. Calendar Sync is not on Free. A both-ways sync uses two slots.

The same rule objects appear in the visual builder and through an assistant. A draft is never active. You turn a custom rule on in Heldrey.

What Heldrey will not do

Heldrey never moves, cancels, renames, or replies to events, and never contacts an attendee. For a one-time calendar operation, use Google Calendar.

See preview before you turn a rule on, and Activity after it runs.
